    Whether it’s a trial that’s overwhelming you today — a health scare, a broken relationship, an unexpected loss — or something looming in the unseen future, duʿā’ is the first step towards finding a way out. The people of duʿā’ don’t wait for calamities to strike. They make duʿā’ part of their daily life, seeking Allah’s help in present difficulties while fortifying themselves against tomorrow’s unknown tests. In the face of destiny, duʿā’ is your defense; before, during, and after the storm.
    Sūrah al-Kahf is your cave: your oasis in the desert of trials & tribulations. By protecting you from the various trials mentioned, the Sūrah will ultimately protect you from the greatest worldly trial: the trial of Dajjāl. Reflect with us every Jumuʿah on Sūrah al-Kahf and share with others so they may also benefit.
    You Will Taste Death! You cannot truly describe the sweetness of a grape to someone, nor can one person taste it for another. To understand it, one must experience the taste firsthand. In the same way, death is a deeply personal experience that every soul must go through on its own. This is why Allah chose the word taste instead of simply saying ‘every soul dies,’ for it conveys the intimate and inevitable reality of experiencing death oneself. May Allah grant us all a beautiful ending.
    The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Increase your ṣalāh upon me on the day and night of Jumuʿah. Whoever invokes ṣalāh upon me once, Allah will bestow ṣalāh upon him ten times.” (Bayhaqī) اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلَىٰ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، كَمَا صَلَّيْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَىٰ اٰلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ ، اَللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَّعَلَىٰ اٰلِ مُحَمَّدٍ ، كَمَا بَارَكْتَ عَلَىٰ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَعَلَىٰ اٰلِ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ ، إِنَّكَ حَمِيْدٌ مَّجِيْدٌ
